The recent housing crisis generated an influx of investors who saw the income opportunities of the residential rental market. A large number of families had to give up their homes as a result of foreclosure, short-sale, etc. and the fact of the matter is they need homes to live in.
Most of these investors came from the northern states and from other countries, mainly Canada, Brazil, China, etc. Being remote investors, the demand for property management services increased tremendously.
The investor’s mindset is generally; how can I maximize my Return On Investment (ROI), and so they look to Property Management Company to help them realize their goal. In addition, there are laws, rules and regulations that must be followed; therefore in selecting a property Management Company the investor must choose wisely!
I hold a Professional Property Management Certification (PPMC) form the Landlord Academy and I am well positioned to help investors meet their objectives.
